Coach Dallas’ Turkey Meatballs

This Turkey Meatball recipe is tasty, easy, and makes enough to freeze for easy meal prep when time is short!

Yields 4 MetPro Servings Total (1 serving- 4 meatballs)
MetPro Note: Can add in 1 cup of dry oatmeal to add texture and carbs. Adds + 1 meal carb per serving.

Protein = 2 (Basic: 30g protein)
Fat = .5 (Basic: 7.5g fat)


Ingredients

  • 1lb (16oz) extra lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • Low sodium soy sauce
  • Garlic

Optional Ingredients
+ Marinara sauce (less than 35 cal per serving)
+ Spinach, celery, or cilantro to mix it up + add greens

Directions

1.) Preheat oven to 350. Mix together the ingredients in a bowl.
2.) Measure out 2oz scoops and place in a muffin tin (you want to make 16)
3.) Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
4.) Top with marinara sauce if desired.
Metpro Tip: Dallas recommends making extra and freezing them for quick meal prep. Pop them in the microwave for just 3 minutes and they are ready to eat!
